APU’s School of Engineering and School of Computing Dominates at RoboRoarZ Malaysia 2025

Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) once again reaffirmed its leadership in robotics and engineering excellence as students from the School of Engineering (SoE) and School of Computing (SoC) claimed major victories at the RoboRoarZ Malaysia 2025, held at APU. 

Jointly organised by Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and APU, RoboRoarZ Malaysia 2025 marked a significant milestone in expanding technology-driven education. (This article can also be read on our website HERE

With numerous participants in the fray, APU students didn’t just stand out, they dominated the competition, securing most of the top positions in the tertiary category, marking a truly remarkable achievement. 

Some of the standout lecturers whose teams secured the highest achievements and most placements throughout the competition:

  1. Dr Mukil Alagirisamy (Senior Lecturer, SoE at APU): Seven highest achievements and placements.
  2. Ir Ts Dr Alexander Chee Hon Cheong (Assistant Professor, SoE at APU): Two highest achievements and placements.
  3. Ts Dr Arun Seeralan (Assistant Professor, SoE at APU): Two highest achievements and placements.
  4. Dr Adeline Sneha John Chrisastum (Senior Lecturer, SoC at APU): Two highest achievements and placements.
