Recognising this vital need, a team of innovative students from Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) developed HealthSync, a ground-breaking solution designed to streamline these essential processes.
APU’s Software Engineering students, Kwan Jun Er, Amelia Sow Jing Yi, and Tan Yann Shaw, have achieved a remarkable feat by securing the Gold medal in the Tertiary (Science and Technology) category at the prestigious Virtual Innovation Competition (VIC) 2025.
VIC 2025, an international platform celebrating innovative and forward-thinking solutions, is hosted by DIGIT360 in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kelantan Branch.
This esteemed event draws participants from universities and research institutions worldwide, offering a global stage for innovators in education, science, and technology to showcase solutions addressing pressing global challenges.
The team’s award-winning project, ‘HealthSync: A Blockchain-Powered Patient Data Management Platform Featuring AI-Driven Health Advisory, Medicine Authentication, and Doctor Appointment Booking’, was mentored by Ms Salasiah Sulaiman and Ms Nur Amira Abdul Majid.
