APU and Experian Malaysia Forge Dynamic Partnership to Empower Future IT Leaders

The Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) and Experian Malaysia Sdn Bhd officially entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on January 4, 2024, solidifying their commitment to shaping the future of technology and fostering talent development.

The collaboration between APU and Experian Malaysia encompasses various initiatives to enhance students' prospects, to prepare them for success in the dynamic IT landscape.

Firstly, they aim to jointly create employment opportunities for qualified APU graduates within Experian Malaysia, facilitated by APU streamlining access to its talent pool. Additionally, Experian Malaysia is committed to offering well-structured internship opportunities for APU students, enabling them to gain valuable industry experience aligned with their academic programmes. This includes active recommendations from APU, leading to jointly supervised internships contributing significantly to academic requirements.

Furthermore, the partnership involves close collaboration on programme development and review, with Experian Malaysia representatives playing a pivotal role in providing valuable industry advice to APU. Beyond these specific initiatives, both parties express a commitment to exploring additional areas for collaboration and mutual benefit, emphasising their shared dedication to enhancing the overall spirit of the Memorandum of Understanding.

Mr. Gurpardeep Singh, Chief Operating Officer of APU, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "This partnership signifies a significant step towards preparing our students for real-world challenges. Collaborating with Experian Malaysia will open doors to a multitude of opportunities for our graduates, ensuring they are well-equipped for success in the ever-evolving technology sector."

This extensive collaboration highlights the shared commitment of both parties to cultivate a dynamic and mutually beneficial partnership, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the evolving demands of their respective fields. As an integral aspect of this collaboration and as part of an ongoing effort to protect and preserve the environment, Experian Malaysia marked the occasion by contributing plants from the Free Tree Society.
