Five students from the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), successfully participated in the Dell Business Challenge 2025, held at the Dell Global Business Centre in Bayan Lepas, Penang. 

Representing APU were Leang Man Yung, Wendy Loh Jing Wen, Siew Mei Hsia, Fion Lai Jin Yu, and Yap Jun Fhung. 

The students were accompanied and mentored by:

1. Mr Bryan Chan Loke Teng (Lecturer, SAF at APU)
2. Mr Richard Teoh Han Guang (Lecturer, SAF at APU)
    

The Dell Business Challenge 2025 is an annual event organised by Dell Global Business Centre Malaysia aimed at providing accounting and finance students from both public and private institutions across Malaysia with invaluable exposure to real-world business challenges. 

This year’s competition saw participants engaging in dynamic case studies, interactive discussions, and professional sharing sessions alongside Dell professionals and leaders, where the APU students demonstrated their analytical thinking, financial acumen, and teamwork throughout each stage of the challenge.

Through this platform, participants had the opportunity to:

1. Gain real-world insights via dynamic case study engagements
2. Access exclusive interview opportunities for Dell’s Accounting and Finance Internship programme
3. Network with senior Dell professionals
4. Explore prospects within the Dell Ambassador programme
    

As part of the experience, APU students took part in a professional sharing session at the Dell Global Business Centre, where they toured the facility, connected with peers from other universities and colleges, and participated in a guided mentoring session to prepare for their case study presentations. 

Although the APU team did not secure a winning title, their participation representing APU stands as a testament to their analytical thinking and teamwork.
