Organised and managed by APU Careers Centre, the “Getting a Job” Workshop and Industrial Visit to Sudong Sdn Bhd successfully took place on 14th August (Thursday) and 15th August (Friday) respectively.

“GETTING A JOB” WORKSHOP

The workshop was held on 14th August (Thursday) from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in Room L2-4, APU Campus @ TPM. Ms Bawani from the Asia Pacific Language Centre (APLC) conducted this event. The 2-hour session covered important aspects in the process of obtaining a job, such as writing a CV and cover letter, grooming and preparations needed for an interview.

Total of 31 students attended the workshop, and they are now better equipped with employability skills that enhance their possibilities for securing a job in their future career.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO SUDONG SDN BHD

On the 15th of August (Friday), from 10:00am to 1:00pm, a trip to Sudong Sdn Bhd was organised by the APU Careers Centre. Students who attended had the opportunity to tour the call centre floor of the company’s office in Klang, Selangor, to understand about its operations. To give a better understanding of Sudong Sdn Bhd, representatives from Sudong Sdn Bhd also presented our students with a talk on the company’s background, together with the current available job opportunities.
