The APU Student Activity and Representative Council (SARC) has organised an Appreciation and Installation Ceremony on the 4th of June 2014 (Wednesday), to recognize the efforts being put in by the ex-SARC members, as well as to nominate the new members who are about to lead and manage the entire Student Council. This year, Teo Wai Lun, student from the School of Accounting, Finance and Quantitative Studies (SAFIQS) was honoured as the president of Student ARC, in succession of Sumanraj S/O Subramaniam, who was from the School of Computing and IT. Also present at the ceremony were APU’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Leslie Trustrum and Manager of Student Affairs, Jerry Chong.

APU Student ARC is a body managed by the Student Affairs Department in APU, which consist of both local and international students from Foundation, Diploma up to Level 2. These students represent the entire community of APU students, and are involved in organizing major annual events within APU, such as Sports Carnival, Charity Bazaar, Multicultural Night and more. They are all-rounded individuals who are excellent in both academics and co-curriculum, which they also serve as the role models of all APU students.
