The First Quadruplets from Kazakhstan to Study Abroad in Malaysia

Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) welcomes its first application from international student quadruplets who will be pursuing their studies at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) in Kuala Lumpur.

The quadruplets, Alikhan, Alizhan, Zaragul, and Zeregul, all 17, are from Kazakhstan and cited many reasons why Malaysia attracted them to pursue their studies here. Malaysia's reputation for cutting-edge innovation and top-tier education attracted them to pursue their studies here.

Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 2), the quadruplets were warmly welcomed by representatives from the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and APU at the EMGS International Student Arrival Centre (ISAC).

Malaysia has long been a preferred destination for international students due to its high-quality education system, multicultural environment and affordable education and living costs. Based on the latest statistics from EMGS, Kazakhstan is among the top 10 countries for new applications received to study in Malaysia in 2024. International students from Kazakhstan have a growing interest in studying abroad in Malaysia, with more than 1900 applications received since 2020.

Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2, the quadruplets were warmly welcomed by APU student ambassadors, their fellow peers.

The quadruplets will further their studies in the Foundation in Computing & Technology, Foundation in Engineering, Foundation in Business & Finance, and Foundation in Business & Finance, respectively.
