New waves of technological disruptions and the emergence of advanced technologies have resulted in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), where Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Virtual Reality (VR), Cloud Engineering, Data Science are going to transform the way businesses operate – routine, mundane jobs will be replaced and there is a growing need to develop “smarter” talents that can ride along the wave of Digital Transformation. APU is taking a lead in Digital Transformation in higher education and preparing workforce for the future.

Some of the applications of technology within the medical industry are such as the Human-AI collaboration in the role of discovering a COVID-19 vaccine. Outside the medical field, the pandemic is introducing new constraints and challenges that technology systems can help overcome. AI can help develop new solutions and ideas to build a more flexible organisation that works remotely. E-Commerce, Digital Marketing & Digital Advertising are thriving and changing business models. Hence, our programmes at APU are Technology-Driven in all fields, ensuring long-term employability and future-proof careers in the age of Industry 4.0, post COVID-19 and beyond.
