Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts Of 2021/2022

Grow your Impact with the Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Expert programme
Today, we celebrate three of our inspiring educators who worked hard to achieve a spot in the Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Expert programme 2021/2022!

The Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Expert programme is an exclusive program created to recognise global educator visionaries who use technology to pave the way for their peers towards better learning and student outcomes.
The ongoing pandemic has been a disruptive game-changer for online digital learning which significantly changed learning methods in educational institutes around the world. Maintaining student engagement and focused learning while outside of the classroom can be a challenge, especially for those transitioning to remote learning for the first time.

To step up their game, Ir. Dr. Freddy Tan Kheng Suan, Mr. Jerry Chong Chean Fuh and Ms. Sireesha Prathi Gadapa have exhibited their competency in using Microsoft tools extensively in their classes while enriching the teaching and learning experiences to ensure our students are right on track. They also impressed the Microsoft evaluators and demonstrated their quality through their responses in the self-nominated MIE programme.

Their level of devotion and enthusiasm towards enhancing students’ learning experience awed the regional Microsoft representatives, which earned them the title of Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Expert 2021/2022.

Our relationship with education and training has changed profoundly and new technologies now allow us to learn anywhere at the pace that suits us best.

To aid this shift, Microsoft supports a thriving community of passionate educators who are constantly learning, growing and working together to change students’ lives and build a better world. The Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Expert programme is an annual programme dedicated to recognise global educator visionaries like you!

As a MIE Expert, you’ll be exposed to first-hand information and invitation to Microsoft educator conferences & publications; certification and recognition badges; as well as gaining access to exclusive Microsoft Educator Network privileges.

Special thanks to Mr. Jonathan JS Kovilpillai and Mr. Jerry Chong Chean Fuh from the Digital learning Hub (DLH) for initiating the session with our respective academicians in sharing relevant knowledge and necessary trainings to support our colleagues in becoming better educators!
