Areas of specialisation
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess the situation, and provide immediate medical care to individuals in need, including administering first aid, CPR, and other life-saving techniques.
  • Medical Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain medical equipment, such as defibrillators, ventilators, and intravenous therapy equipment, ensuring they are in working order.
  • Safely and efficiently transport patients to medical facilities, providing continuous care during transit and ensuring the patient's comfort.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, gather relevant information, and communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and explain the treatment plan.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and other relevant information in electronic medical records to ensure comprehensive medical history.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, guidelines, and protocols in the field of emergency medical services, including those established by the Ministry of Health in Malaysia.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in emergency medical care and attend regular training and certification programs to maintain and improve your skills.
General requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Paramedicine or related field.
  • Valid certification as a Paramedic from a recognized institution.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Areas of specialisation
  • Responsible for accounts payable, staff claims and ensure all requirements adhere to internal control procedures. 
  • Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data. 
  • Prepare road tax and insurance schedules and liaise with insurance agent to ensure all company vehicles with valid road tax and insurance.
  • Update suppliers contract and agents contract schedule to ensure all payments are in accordance to terms and conditions stipulated in the contracts.
  • To carry out any other ad-hoc duties and assignments delegated by the management from time-to-time.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent.

  • Bachelors in computer science/ Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent level of studies in other fields are welcome.
  • Good in SQL with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and programming skills and ability to code in various languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, or JavaScript)
  • Experience with any Reporting tool is an added advantage.

  • Provide technical leadership support pertaining to mentoring students, developing innovative VR/AR projects and managing the operations & maintenance of the APU XR Studio.
  • Responsible for managing developments and activity implementation for XR Studio in alignment with the university’s mission and strategic plan to have the XR developments and studio be fully functional by students/staff.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and enhancements of the VR/AR hardware and software.
  • Creates a dynamic environment that focuses on quality project outputs, fostering institutional public/private partnerships within the VR/AR eco-system, promoting innovation and managing the XR studio.
General requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with any of the following: VR / MR / AR development, 3D file formats (such as FBX, gITF, COLLADA/DAE, OBJ) or character animation (avatar systems, and human representation).
  • Experience with API design and implementation for realtime 3D applications.
  • Experience building and releasing commercial software in C/C++, C# or similar language.
  • Experience with any 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, etc).
  • Experience in any of the following: developing 3D pipelines processing models (scenes, textures, materials and animation), developing software within the game development process or experience building interactive real-time 3D products.

Areas of specialisation
  • Apply data analytics, for data driven and timely decision by the leadership team across the university, with direct reporting to Director, Academic Operations.
  • Work closely with CTI in the data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Analyse and provide statistics on student satisfaction, experience based on student surveys – mid/end semester, programme evaluation survey as well as ad-hoc online feedback - and assist leadership in the analysis of the findings for informed and effective decision making.
  • Provide in-depth information on the rate of student attrition over a period of time, with insights on the programmes, number of students as well reasons for attrition.
  • Contribute towards teaching/learning, by undertaking module delivery as well as module content creation of a few select modules in which he/she has the expertise.
  • Take on any other administrative role that contributes towards effective academic operations across the university, assigned by the Director, Academic Operations.

1. 2D Animation:

  • Comprehension and practice application of Animation Principles.
  • Technically capable to operate Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
  • Technically capable to operate 2D Animation software such as Toonboom and/or Adobe Animate.
  • Able to draw using traditional and/or digital methods.

2. Drawing/Illustration:

  • Able to draw using traditional and digital methods.
  • Able to illustrate for varied creative context - concept art, digital painting, vector artwork, character designs, environmental designs, and/or props design.
  • Technically capable to operate Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Technically capable to operate any drawing software such as Adobe Fresco, Procreate and/or Sketchbook.

3. Digital Advertising:

  • Knowledgeable in aspects of digital marketing such SEO, PPC, Content Marketing, Email Marketing and Social Media practices.
  • Experience with branding/client management, media planning and running of advertising campaigns (offline and online).
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, strategies and case studies of the advertising and marketing industry.
  • Familiarity with basic data analytics practices for advertising/marketing context.
  • Experience with ad copywriting, creative direction and/or packaging design.
General requirements
  • For full time employment, candidates must possess Masters qualification and relevant Design Degree.
  • For contractual employment, candidates must possess a relevant Design Degree and have minimum 2 years of working experience in the related creative production industry.

  • Must possess a PhD in Engineering, preferably in petroleum engineering.
  • With a Master's in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum should have at least 2-3 years of teaching experience.
  • With a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Oil & Gas who are registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or a Professional Engineer or in the process of registering as a Professional Engineer and with some teaching experience in the subject mentioned above will also be considered.
