We are excited to share with you that our BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Studies student, Wong Kah Fai, achieved tremendous results at the National Mathematics Competition, that was held at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Sungai Long recently.

Among the 200 participants from local and international education institutions, 18 students from APU took part in the competition, under the guidance of Mr. Saw Looi Beng from School of Mathematics, Actuarial and Quantitative Studies (SOMAQS). Our students demonstrated their best performance at all categories of the competition – Theory of Everything, The Running Maths and the Mathketeers, from which Kah Fai excelled and emerged as the champion of the Running Maths category.
