Top Glove Corporation Berhad. extended a warm welcome to 36 enthusiastic students from the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation’s (APU) School of Marketing and Management (SoMM) during their recent corporate visit to the company’s headquarters — Top Glove Tower in Setia Alam, Selangor — on 9th July 2025.
Organised and led by Ms Harjinder Kaur, Senior Lecturer and Industry Advisory Panel Coordinator, the industrial visit was designed to give students valuable real-world exposure to large-scale manufacturing, global branding strategies, and corporate sustainability initiatives.
“This industrial tour was both well-executed and highly impactful. Our students gained invaluable insights into manufacturing, branding, and corporate operations.
“The professionalism of the Top Glove team made the experience memorable, and I am incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and engagement shown by our students. This visit will no doubt leave a lasting mark on their academic and professional journey,” said Ms Harjinder.
Top Glove, the world’s largest glove manufacturer, proved an ideal host for this immersive learning experience.
Upon arrival at the sleek and modern Top Glove Tower, students were warmly received by the Human Resource team, including Ms Farah Irdina and Ms Noor Syafiqah Hanina.

The visit kicked off with a comprehensive overview of Top Glove’s global presence, product offerings, and key operational strategies.
The students were particularly impressed by the professionalism and hospitality of their hosts, which set the tone for an engaging and informative day.
From a branding perspective, the tour offered plenty of inspiration. Top Glove’s corporate identity — rooted in its status as a global industry leader — was clearly communicated through powerful visuals, sustainability messages, and milestone displays throughout the building.
The integration of corporate social responsibility (CSR) into its brand narrative stood out as a meaningful differentiator in the competitive manufacturing landscape.
Learning manufacturing excellence

The tour continued to Factory 14 in Klang, where students, donned in full PPE were guided through the glove production process by Phang Kai Sheng and Yun Kah Kean from the Production & Compounding team.
From raw material handling to packaging, students witnessed the meticulous precision, automation, and rigorous quality control that underpin Top Glove’s operations.
The visit was not only a lesson in efficiency but also a demonstration of how operational excellence supports brand credibility on a global scale.
Hygiene standards, traceability, and a seamless production flow underscored the company’s commitment to international best practices.
A highlight of the visit was the interactive Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with Top Glove personnel on topics such as career pathways, sustainability, and international operations.
The openness and insights shared by the team encouraged thoughtful dialogue and reflection.

Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Muthanna, an E-Business Management student, described the experience as exceptionally professional from start to finish.
“Touring the factory, warehouse, and labs completely transformed my perspective. I am genuinely thrilled to have been part of this eye-opening corporate trip.”
Yazid Mohsen, also from E-Business Management, was equally inspired.
“The visit to Top Glove was truly enriching. I was amazed by the speed, coordination, and precision of the production lines. Witnessing how teamwork fuels such a vast operation was nothing short of inspiring. This experience has greatly enhanced my understanding of logistics and industrial practices.”
Viewing the visit through a marketing lens, students recognised the crucial link between consistent product quality, strong brand promise, and transparency; vital elements in maintaining customer trust amid the demands of a competitive global market.
Kit Yong Sien, a Digital Marketing student, called the factory tour eye-opening, marveling at “How systematic and meticulous every step was. It truly demonstrated that attention to detail is what drives perfection.”

For Chin Lok Nee, another Digital Marketing student, it was a first glimpse into live manufacturing.
