Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) welcomed Hilti Asia IT Services (HAITS) for an engaging workshop tailored for students studying Supply Chain Management (SCM) from both Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Arts in International Business programme on 21st July 2025.

Organised by Ms Shailaja Kumar (Programme Leader, Graduate School of Business at APU, and Lecturer, School of Business at APU), the workshop aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice, with a focus on digital transformation, customer-centric logistics, and career pathways.

Hilti, a global leader in system solutions for construction professionals, offers an integrated portfolio of hardware, software, and services that drive productivity and operational efficiency.

The workshop was highly interactive, with students engaging in discussions, asking thought-provoking questions, and analysing real-world case studies presented by the speakers.

They collaborated in small groups to brainstorm innovative solutions, drawing connections between classroom theories and practical industry applications.

This hands-on approach not only deepened their understanding of the topics, but also encouraged teamwork and critical thinking.

Adding a personal touch, Ms Nicole Lee, Software Engineer at HAITS, who is also an APU alumna, introduced the HAITS Scholarship Programme, further strengthening the bridge between academia and industry.
