The Asia Pacific University Clover Guide Club (APUCG), established last year with a vision to empower young Clover girls through meaningful experiences, continues to make remarkable strides in shaping tomorrow’s leaders. 

Dedicated to fostering personal growth, inclusivity, and community service, the club has quickly become a platform for members to engage in impactful initiatives while making a positive difference in society. 

A Milestone Celebration: Installation Ceremony 2025

On 19 July 2025, APUCG proudly hosted its Installation Ceremony and Leadership & Mindset Workshop, marking another significant chapter in its journey of growth and leadership development. 

The event was graced by Puan Toh Wooi Wah, the Queen’s Guide, who officiated and celebrated the installation of newly elected members. Her presence brought immense inspiration to participants, affirming the values of service, resilience, and empowerment that underpin the Guiding movement.

The success of this event was driven by the unwavering support and mentorship of APU’s academics and staff, including Ms Manpreet Kaur, Guide Captain and Lecturer at the School of Foundation Studies (SoF); Lieutenant Nur Fatanahanis Hamid (SoF); Ir EUR ING Ts Dr Harvin Kaur Gurchran Singh, Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering (SoE); Ms Hashanna Abdul Halim, Assistant Manager of Student Experience; and Professor Dr Angeline Yee, Director of Research Management. Their efforts have been instrumental in nurturing the club since its inception.

Ms Nurjahan Othman and Mr Jaff Choong Gian Yong deliver enriching sessions through engaging workshops.


The one-day event went beyond formalities, offering participants an enriching experience through engaging workshops. Ms Nurjahan Othman, Lecturer at the School of Marketing and Management (SoMM), delivered an impactful session on career growth, equipping attendees with strategies to set goals and pursue professional excellence. 

Adding a unique dimension, Mr Jaff Choong Gian Yong, Lecturer at the School of Psychology (SoP), facilitated a personality test workshop that encouraged self-awareness and enhanced team dynamics—key ingredients for effective leadership. 

These sessions empowered members to reflect on their personal aspirations, identify strengths, and take proactive steps toward holistic development.

Under the leadership of Kirtana Kaur Gill, a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science with a specialism in Data Analytics student and current President of APUCG, the club continues to advocate inclusivity as its core strength. With a commitment to empowering young women and expanding its community, APUCG stands as a beacon of leadership, collaboration, and personal growth—ensuring its members are well-prepared to create positive change in society.
