APU Collaborates With RedBeat Academy To Foster Digital Talent Development​
Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) today announced a collaboration with airasia Digital’s edu tech arm, Redbeat Academy, to foster digital talent development.​

The collaboration seeks to explore opportunities, develop, support and enrich research activities including education and training in the fields that will be beneficial to both parties.

These include a collaboration of academic activities such as training, life-long learning, academic discussions, seminars, conferences, conducting research and supervision of student projects, academic programmes through micro-credentials, facilitation of mutual exchanges in the use of research resources, joint research and development (R&D) for industrial research funding, as well as other projects that will be identified in the future.

Moving forward, APU and Redbeat Academy will also include micro-credential offerings between the various programs held.

Since its inception, Redbeat Academy has collaborated with the Malaysian Industry-Government Group of High Technology (MIGHT) to reskill a pool of talent in Software Engineering and High Technology projects (such as blockchain and data) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, University Malaya and Asia QSchool of Business in collaboration with MIT Sloan Management, Imperial College London, in awarding a micro-credential to Redbeat Academy courses and acknowledging it as part of the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
