APU Supports "Stop Violence Against Women" Campaign

A total number of 40 students and lecturers from APU have shown their support towards the “Stop Violence Against Women” cause, by participating in the “Walk the Talk on ZERO Tolerance, ZERO Victims and ZERO Violence”, on the 1st of December 2013 (Sunday). Organised by the Soroptimist International Region of Malaysia, this event was being held at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club, from 7am to 11am.

The APU Community, which consisted of members from the APU Volunteer and Community Group and APU Line Dance Funk Club, has performed a 4-minute dance at the closing ceremony, with accordance to songs which were of motivational elements. This dance was especially dedicated to the victims of violence, and through this event, APU members stand together with them, in hope that violence and abuse towards women across the world can be stopped as soon as possible.
